What is Chingu Chat?

Who is it for?

Chingu chat is for korean preschoolers (age 3-5) who are learning to develop stronger and functional English language along with social communication skills.

What does it look like?

Chingu Chat runs weekly on Tuesday mornings 10am – 11am. Each week clients come in for a play at the clinic and parents have opportunity to have tea and coffee in a separate room. The program consists of number of different activities each week where clients have opportunity to develop language (e.g. requesting, commenting, asking questions, negotiating) and build social skills (e.g. sharing, turn taking, cooperative play). These activities are facilitated by a bilingual speech pathologist to support and model these skills in play. 

What is the cost?

The program is billed accordance with the NDIS guidelines for Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation under Group and Centre Based Activities ($90/ per session). It is claimable through NDIS.
