Speech Therapy fee reduction for low income families: How it works
Talkshop Speech Pathology is a private speech pathology service that is committed to making speech therapy accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We understand that the waitlist for community health speech pathology services can be long, and we are able to see you right away while you are on the waitlist. We also offer a reduced rate for low-income families.
To be eligible for the reduced rate, you must present a valid Australian Government Low Income Health Care card. This discount will need to be presented at the start of each block of therapy. We also offer support to low-income families who are attending community speech pathology services. We can help you to maintain the continuity of your therapy and make sure that you are getting the best possible care.
You are eligible for a 20% reduction of fees at our speech pathology service if you can present a valid Australian Government Low Income Health care card. This will need to be presented at the start of each block of therapy
