What are the most accessible speech pathology funding sources?

Understanding haw to maximize available speech pathology funding can greatly impact the extent of support you receive. On this page. we provide comprehensive insights into the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Medicare and Chronic Disease Management Plans (COM), Private Health and reduced fees through the Low Income Health Care Card to help you make informed decisions and make the most of your funding benefits for speech therapy.

Talkshop is a registered and certified service provider. We provide our services to Plan Managed, Self managed and NDIA Agency Managed clients.

Medicare provides financial support through Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans. All our clinicians are also Medicare registered.

Private speech pathology is covered under many health fund plans. Check with your health insurance to see if your specific level of cover entitles you to a rebate. All our clinicians are also registered to almost all private health insurance providers.

We are the only private speech pathology service that offers a reduced rate for low-income families. You are eligible for a 20% reduction of fees at our speech pathology service if you can present a valid Australian Government Low Income Healthcare card.
