| Throughout my life I’ve been fascinated by the intricacies of communication and the way that humans developed language.
As a speech pathologist at Talkshop, I work in a space where I am privileged to help support and develop these skills! Whether that’s supporting a client with their speech sounds while doing a crazy obstacle course, or breaking down the fundamentals of literacy while we play basketball. I love to keep my sessions fun and play based, and I am a huge advocate for neurodiverse affirming therapy! I believe one of the most important things we can do to support our neurodiverse clients is to recognise the changes that need to take place in society, and extend our support to the community to advocate for our clients. I am passionate about working with clients of all ages, and getting families involved in our sessions.
When I’m not at work I love exploring the world and going bushwalking, spinning around in aerial dance, and spending quality time with my friends and family. |
