Jaime Zworestine

I joined the Talkshop team in 2019. I instantly aligned with Talkshop’s values and fell in love with doing play-based therapy. I love it when my clients ask me when we are going to start doing work, as they think they have just been playing the whole session!

Your voice is at the heart of my practice. I listen to my clients to understand what communication goals are needed to support their life goals. I am passionate about empowering my families to build their skills through a well-developed therapy plan and through family-centred practice. For us at Talkshop, we don’t just connect with you once a week. I stay connected to support you through the week with home practice through our client portal and chat channels.

At Talkshop I work with children and adults of all ages for speech, language, stuttering, voice, literacy, and social skills. One of the greatest highlights of my role is working in schools alongside teachers, as well as working with other disciplines (including psychologists and occupational therapists) as a team to support our clients and students. You may find me running school readiness presentations for parents whose children are starting Kindergarten, or hosting fun social groups for our neurodiverse clients.

I love having fun, playing and making a mess! My favourite games to play in the clinic include movement-based games such as creating obstacle courses, bouncing on yoga balls or hiding in our tipi. Outside of work, you’ll find me at the dog beach with my puppy Sabi.
